When I was in my early teens I was always shorter than everyone so I prided myself in being in tip top shape. I took pride in being no.1 in every drill. During my down time or in the summer I did countless toe raises, when I felt that burn not pain I would do 100 more. I would also do the leg press and practice jumping. Nothing fancy, I’m 5’10 and could get my elbow over the rim. Dominated the court guys 6’5 and better were normal victims. I’m 43 and I still play 3 days a week, my great wheels allow me to play at a pretty high level while most of my counterparts are retired.
