More AND1 Basketball Clips

I was watching a lot of and1 basketball clips and there was this one very special move that I saw. I mean, I know there are so many of them but this one was very simple but elegant. In these videos, you can't find it but the move was something like this..

You dribble. An opponent comes up. What you do, is, somehow protect the ball from him so that he can't see it. For example if he is in a defensive stance, assuming you're in a position where he can't see the ball (you are turned sideways), bounce the ball just a little harder and them make a fake move wherever appropriate without the ball.

If he reacts to that, and he should (with a little practice), get back, take your ball and blow past him. You should take him off balance. In other words, as soon as you move to the left or right, he'll react but then he'll see that you don't have the ball with you.

That happens in a split of a second. But you should be ready and anticipate his attempt to steal the ball and be one step ahead to grab it before he does.

It's a little hard move to explain when you can't see it. Damn it, I can't remember what video clip that was. Anyways, here are some other ones that you'll definitely like.

Enjoy!

2.07 - jaw dropping move

1.15 - unbelievable dunk

2.17 - crazy dribbling

3.25 - I think that's James White but I'm not sure. Whoever he is, he's got a freakish vertical leap

4.40 - daaaaammn

4-56 - 5.05 - amazing

Wanna know why he broke his ankle after 1.41 seconds of the video clip? I'm just kidding, you probably saw it. But if you didn't, here's why. After the first crossover (that was a nice head-shake by the way), he made a move as if he was going to shoot. The other guy, of course reacted to that, but again he just dribbled past him to the left.

2.45 - nice dribbling but I'm not sure if everybody would react to that the way he did

3.34 and 5.13 - I don't think any of the NBA players ever did this move or maybe I have missed it but that's a very smooth move to toss the ball as if passing it to someone. He's got to react to that and when he does you have an open shot.

3.54 and 4.27 - close to the move I described at the beginning of this page
