How I Created This Website

If you are knowledgeable about basketball and you want to make money from your knowledge the best way is building a website. Don't just create a blog and babble about it. Build something evergreen. Something that people would wanna read.

I've created this website using a very powerful tool called "Site Build It". Best-Basketball-Tips.com has been live since September, 2007 and at the time of this writing it has 569 pages. By the time you will be reading this it would be well over 1000.

I'm using 4 ways to monetize my site. Adsense, Infolinks, Sponsors and promoting other products (Affiliate Marketing). The profit is increasing month by month without me doing anything because Google "appreciates" sites that are older and that have lots of content. And that's exactly what my site is and what is becoming.

Great deal of the content here is written by other players, coaches, parents and basketball fans. It covers a lot of topics and it's only getting bigger. At the time of this writing it has well over 2000 unique visitors every single day. The more pages I add the more my traffic increases and the more my profit rises. It's like a snowball getting bigger. Once it gets really big there's no looking back.
