Reggie Evans Bio

Reginald Jamaal Evans is a vigilant power forward basketball player. He is an American native and has professionally adopted basketball playing.

Evans is playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is commonly known as the ‘Reggie Evans’. Interestingly, he is an undrafted player and was hired by the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a free agent.

While playing for the NBA, Evans has started his career with the Seattle SuperSonics.

Reggie Evans was born on May 18, 1980 in Pensacola at Florida. He is a basketball freak from the early days of his life and had played so miraculously in his school and college times.

Reggie Evans has been selected by the National Basketball Association because of the way he makes rebounds in the game. Currently, Reggie Evans is playing to represent Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association.

Evans was enrolled in the Woodham High School and used to play basketball in his school times. Then he was enrolled the Coffeeville Community College in Coffeyville at Kansas from the year 1998-2000.

After leaving this institute, Evans has joined University of Iowa for the completion of his higher studies. He has equally concentrated in persuading his career in the field of basketball. While having his times at college, Evans marveled the people by efficiently playing free throws, attempted free throws and double-doubles.

In the Big Ten Conference, Reggie Evans has maintained good performance in the rebounding. He was named as a Big Ten Tournament MVP in 2001. Evans has been an Honorable Mention All-American. In the year 2002, he was awarded as the Second Team All Big Ten.

Then, it came the time for Reggie Evans to prove his skills in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and he has started playing with the SuperSonics. He is a luckiest player who was selected on the basis of his fame rather than being drafted. Evans has played till the year 2006 with the Seattle SuperSonics.

In the year 2005, Evans succeeded by bringing his team on the 12th rank in the National Basketball Association (NBA) because of the rebounding. To estimation, Evans was able to make at least 10 rebounds in 19 games of the basketball. In his tenure with the SuperSonics, Evans was succeeded in averaging 22 points per game and nine rebounds per game in nearly thirty minutes. This time, the 22 points were career high points so far.

In the 2006-07 season, Evans has averaged 4.9 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game in 17.1 minutes. He has also hit six double-doubles in his career of the sports at that time. He has rendered his services to the Denver Nuggets this season. After a lapse of one year, Evans was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and stayed with them till the year 2009. In 2009, Evens has joined Toronto Raptors and is still playing for them.
In his career, he has won a gold medal in the FIBA U21 World Championship in the year 2001 at Saitama. Which ever the ground or situation comes, Evans is a confident player of performing in a stunning way especially while making rebounds of basketball.
