Rashard Lewis is an American native and a professional basketball player.

He is serving in the professional grounds of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Rashard Lewis is playing basketball to represent the Washington Wizards and was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics to play in the National basketball Association (NBA).

Lewis has three siblings; one twin sister and two brothers. His sister Alief Elsik used to play sports in her school and college days. He also loves to watch the movies in his leisure time.Lewis has joined the Alief Elsik High School of Houston at Texas.

He has successfully scored 2339 points on the whole. Being a senior in the season 1997-98, Lewis has averaged 28.2 points per game, 12.4 rebounds per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, and 4.3 steals per game.

Even USA Today has selected Rashard Lewis All-USA First Team and has also named as a McDonald’s High School All-American. In the Magic Johnson Roundball Classic tournament, Lewis was named as the Most Valuable Player. He has also been selected as the National Player of the Year by the PARADE Magazine.

In his high school times, he was awarded with the titles; Gatorade Player of the Year, Texas Magazine Player of the Year and the Houston Chronicle Player of the Year.

Then, Rashard Lewis was given the opportunity to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Seattle SuperSonics has selected him in the 1998 NBA Draft. He was selected in the second round with the 32nd overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics.

It was the year 2001 when Lewis got a chance to play in the Goodwill Games and he has won the gold medal there. When he was playing basketball in Japan, he has made his career-high score of the 41 points. He had also made his 918th three-pointer in the first quarter of a game while playing against the Detroit Pistons.

In the year 2007, Lewis has joined the Orlando Magic. He has signed the deal worth $ 118 million on July 7, 2001 with the Orlando Magic of six year based duration. He remained among the top scorers in the playoff game of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

There, Rashard Lewis has set records in averaging points, rebounds and assists as well. He has made his career-high 22.4 points per game in the 2006-07 season. In the season 2008-09, Lewis won the title of 2009 NBA All-Star Game.
