Pool Basketball

Pool basketball is often more fun than competitive activity but it's a good way to combine those two things. Especially if you love swimming and sun and all that.

There are so many ways to be creative in the pool so don't be afraid to experiment.

If other people decide to play some basketball in the pool, they'll probably do it for the sake of having a good time so don't get too serious.

Obviously you can't dribble:) Passing and shooting would be key here. It's best to play 2 on 2 because if you play 3 on 3 it might get crowded. You also can't hide the ball under the water and you can't splash water in your opponent's face. That would be foul. Don't do that:) Just enjoy this great game.

To make it even more interesting you can make a deal. The losing team gets to clean the pool or get some drinks for the winning team. You can limit the number of passes to, say, 5 passes. That means that the receiver that gets the 5th pass, must shoot the ball no matter if there's a defender there in front of him or not.

And the fact that, there will only be one basket, it's a good idea to decide on what happens when somebody scores. It'll be easier and better for the team that scores to be their ball after each score. Plus, the fact that checking the ball beyond something in the pool would be a bad idea.

If the rim can be regulated then, put it little bit higher so that it'd be harder to score (and of course to practice your shooting skills:)
