NBA Championship Winners

To be the world’s greatest basketball team, one must endure fatigue, injury, controversy, and the other aspects that compose the roller-coaster season known as the NBA.

From late-October to mid-April, 30 franchises battle it out during an 82 game season that is sure to test your dedication, endurance, and sanity. The season is filled with long road trips and back-to-back games.

When it’s all said and done, someone has to end up with the best and worst records in the league. Some (16 to be exact) will advance to postseason play while the others will have to patiently wait for next season. Some will overachieve and surprise, while others will disappoint and be filled with inner team turmoil.

Yet when it’s all said and done, two teams, the best from each conference, will face on in a best of seven series that will eventually award a World Champion. The list of past NBA Championship winners is filled with surprises, predictability, long series, short series – all of which are surely memorable.

In order to join the list of NBA Championship winners, one must overcome adversity and rejoice in what is the greatest accomplishment in basketball.
