Michael Beasley Bio

Michael Beasley is an American native and a professional basketball player.

He is proving his skills on the professional grounds of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Around these days Michael Beasley is playing basketball to represent the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Though he has been selected by the Miami Heat in the 2008 NBA Draft and has played two of the seasons with them.Michael Paul Beasley Jr. is his full name and his nick name is ‘B-Easy’.

He is an ambidextrous athlete who plays as a small forward and a power forward in the basketball and he shoots his jump with his left-handed service. He stands six feet and ten inches tall and his listed weight is 235 pounds.

Michael Paul Beasley was born on January 9, 1989 in Fredrick at Maryland to Fatima Smith and Michael Beasley Sr.. He has four siblings including two brothers (Leroy Ellison and Malik Smith) and two sisters (Mychaela Beasley and Tiffany Couch). He is a lively athlete and continues other entertaining task in his life including shopping, cars, and video games playing.

He lists his asset in life is his family members. In his leisure time, Beasley love to enjoy listening R&B, rap, pop, Go-go and soul music. Interestingly SpongeBob Squarepants is his favorite TV show.

Michael Beasley has joined Notre Dame Preparatory School for the accomplishment of his high school studies. In his school times, he has got the chance to play in the AAU youth teams.

In the year 2006, Beasley was declared as the USA Men’s U18 National Team member on June 26, 2010.s When there held the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Men in San Antonio at Texas, Beasley has averaged 13.8 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. He was also named as the McDonald’s All-American team and was on fifth rank in hitting the 8.3 rebounds per game.

In the year 2007, when there held the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game, he has won the Most Valuable Player title by averaging 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Beasley was enrolled in the Kansas State University and has proved himself to be a proficient player of the basketball in his institute.

When he was a Big-12 Player, he was succeeded in maintaining 26.2 points per game and 12.4 rebounds per game. In his total of the NCAA history being a freshman, Michael Beasley has averaged 866 total points and 408 rebounds. In making points, he was declared to be on third rank and in grabbing rebounds he was on the second rank among the players of basketball at his institute.

He has also settled a record in making 28 double-doubles being a freshman in the Kansas State. The eye-catching moment was at the time when Michael Beasley was announced as the unbeatable shooter with the 53.7 percentage of shooting from the field (282 out of 525).

In the year 2007, he was honored with the title of McDonald’s All-American Game Most Valuable Player.In the year 2008, National Basketball Association (NBA) has drafted Michael Beasley in the 2008 NBA Draft.
Such a young and energetic athlete was selected by the Miami Heat in the first of the round and with the second overall pick. Then, in 2010; Minnesota Timberwolves have traded him and he is still rendering his services for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
