Kwame Brown

Kwame Brown was born on March 10, 1982 in Charleston at South Carolina and is an American Professional Basketball Player of NBA (National Basketball Association).

Nowadays, he is playing for the Charlotte Bobcats and has also represented four other teams in his professional career.

Although he is an efficient player but as per social perspectives, so many unethical cases have been filed against Kwame Brown in his life.

He has gained his high school education from the Glynn Academy at Brunswick, Georgia. He used to play basketball there and was known by his athletic habits in all over the school. He used to be the “Best High School Player” in his time. Brown was also declared as the “High School Player of the Year”. He was a leading rebounder in his school team. He has not studied at any university and has joined NBA after his High School education.

So, his NBA career starts with the Washington Wizards in 2001. Kwame Brown has signed a contract to play for the University of Florida but in no time he has decided to be with the NBA and has signed 2001 NBA Draft. Brown has claimed to be a best player which is going to be drafted for the Washington Wizards and so expectations were alike for him.

There seemed not at all any such signs from his performances which he has shown in games of basketball. Later, with the passage of time, Brown has improved his skills and has practiced the game in serious manner. Initially, Brown has averaged 4.5 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Then, he raised the scoring level by averaging 10.9 points and 4.7 rebounds which is a miraculous change indeed. While playing for Washington Wizards, Brown has once averaged 30 points and 19 rebounds against Sacramento Kings. He was suspended by the Wizards as he has missed the practice sessions once because of Arenas and then by lying that he is suffering from stomach ache and was found at a restaurant.

Then, in the year 2005 Brown was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers where he has played for three years till 2008. He has marked the performance of Lakers by hiking their scores and maintaining their increased average. He has improved the scoring status from 6.1 points to 12.3 points and 6.3 rebounds to 9.1 rebounds. He has always played in the centre position and was now considered as the backbone for the Lakers.

Brown has then played for the Memphis Grizzlies in the year 2008 and has joined Detroit Pistons to play with them. There, he has signed a contract of two years worth $8 million. It was Charlotte Bobcats whom he has started playing after Detroit Pistons.

In the year 2006, Kwame Brown was alleged with the rape case and he was charged by the Los Angeles Police Department. Then, he was charged by throwing a cake over the man and he has compensated this misbehave by dining out with the man at Arena Club. Then, his cousin was driving his car at Valdosta, Georgia in opposite direction along the road; made another problem for Kwame Brown> Brown fought with the police and was arrested because of this.

Despite such black marks of his personal life, Brown is indeed a must player to have in team if one expects to hold a winning position.
