Ty Lawson Bio

Tywon “Ty” Ronell Lawson, an American basketball player. He was born on November 3, 1987 in Clinton, Maryland.

Currently Lawson is playing for Denver Nuggets of the NBA, and was drafted in the 2009 NBA Draft as the 18th overall pick. He wears No. 3 jersey, and his listed height and weight are 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m) and 195 lb (88 kg) respectively.

Lawson was named the ACC Player of the Year, it was for the first time in the history of basketball that a point guard had won the ACC’s highest honor since long before in 1978 Tar Heel Phil Ford had won the same award.
