Tony Allen Biography

Anthony (Tony) Allen is a professional basketball player of America.

He was born on January 11, 1982 in Chicago Located in United States. He is a player of forward or Guard position. He has weight of about 97 kilo grams and height six feet and four inches. He was really a good player of basketball since his early age.

During his school days he played basketball for his school. He was a famous player in his school and was known as best player in the team. He was also famous among other schools of the city because his performance as a young basketball player was shining. He was selected as a senior player in his school basketball team and his performance proved that he is a main basketball player of the team.

He joined a college after his school education. He was also played for his college basketball team because he was a shining player of his school so he easily got chance to play for his college. He did his best for his college and performed good making his college team many wins.

He was also played in some tournaments by the college. He was transferred to Oklahoma State University for his final two college seasons. He was named the Big 12 player of the year during his university. He was the first player in the history of OSU who earned 1,000 points in just two seasons. He got a degree of graduate in education from Oklahoma State University.

Allen started his professional career with Boston Celtics in 2004 when he was selected in first round of 2004 NBA draft. He has played for a long time for Boston of about six years. He was signed a three year contract with Memphis Grizzlies in July 2010 and currently he is playing with Grizzlies.
