John Jr. (Brooms) Abramovic Bio

John "Brooms" Abramovic Jr. was born on February 19, 1919. He was a very popular player of basketball.

He was an American professional basketball player who played in National basketball association. National basketball association is also called shortly as NBA. His had a height of about six feet and three inches and weight about 195 lbs or 88 kilo grams.

He was a very well known basket ball player during his career he also a very famous player of NBA. John Abramovic was born in Etna city in the state of Pennsylvania in United States of America. He has American nationality because it was his born place and was citizen of United States.

John Abramovic studied at high school and played basketball over there for the team of his school, he performed very well during his high school career and he won many prizes while playing for his school team.

After the completion of his school studies he got admission in the college the name of his college was Salem College. It was a very famous and well known college at that time.

Now this college has been converted into university for last many years and now this college is named as, Salem International University located in Salem, west Virginia. During the years his college career he was an out standing player of basket ball and very well reputed basketball player for his college team. He led men’s college basketball in scoring for two straight years, 1941-1942 and 1942-1943.

He proved his worth during his career by showing his all abilities. He was known as a best player of basketball during his college career. After that he played in NBA for three different teams and he also played for one team of NBL in the mid of 1940s.

He died on June 9, 2000 in Ormond, Florida at the age of 81 years.
