Devin Ebanks Bio

Devin Ebanks is an American native and a professional basketball player. He is proving his basketball on the professional grounds of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Currently, Ebanks is representing the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. He is a wise athlete with the educational background in Athletic Coaching Education.

Devin Ebanks was born on October 28, 1989 in Queens at New York to Hubert Ebanks and Yvonne Jackson. Devin Ebanks plays as a guard and in the forward position in the basketball. He stands six feet and nine inches tall.

He is a sleek basketball athlete with the listed weight of 215 pounds. He has been among the top scouts of his school times. His scouting has led him to the rank eleven and ranks thirteen by the survey of and respectively.

Derek has initially got admission in the Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Brooklyn at New York. There, he has averaged 18 points per game, six rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per game.

Then, he shifted to the St. Thomas More School in the Connecticut and succeeded in averaging 23 points per game, five rebounds per game, and four assists per game with the three steals per game. It was his performance in the basketball playing in the junior year.

When he reached his senior year, he succeeded in averaging 23 points per game, ten rebounds per game with five assists per game. During his stay at the St. Thomas More, he has made a record by scoring around 1000 points in the overall two seasons.

In his school times, Ebanks was honored with the Jordan Brand Classic All-Star Game which held at New York. While playing AAU basketball, he was among the top thirty nominees who got a chance to perform in the 2007 USA Basketball Development Festival which took place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs at Colorado. In his complete tenure at the University, Ebanks has marveled everyone by winning many awards and titles. He has been announced as the Big East All-Rookie Team in the 2008-09 season. Then in the year 2009 and he received the titles of Big East All- Tournament Team, Naismith Award Watch List, Third Team All-Big East.

Finally, in the year 2010, he won the Big East Conference Tournament Championship by playing as a forward player in the basketball.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has selected Ebanks in the 2010 NBA Draft. Los Angeles Lakers have selected him on the 43rd overall pick and in the second round.
