Chuck Hayes Bio

Chuck Hayes is an American native and a professional basketball player. He is marking his skills in the practical grounds of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Around these days, Hayes is representing Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Throughout his professional career as well as the high school and collegiate career, Hayes has proved to be the outstanding player everywhere.Charles Edward Hayes is his full name. Chuck Hayes was born on June 11, 1983 in San Leandro at California.

He is six feet and six inches tall and his listed weight is 238 pounds. He plays as the centre and the power forward player in the basketball. Hayes married his girlfriend, Nicole Anderson. It was the fortunate moment for Charles Edward Hayes on the day when he was blessed with a son (named Dorian Titus Hayes) and the same day; he has started his first career in the NBA playoff games. Even the first playoff victory was achieved by Hayes on the day when his son was born.

Chuck Hayes has joined Modesto Christian High School of California. He was honored with the title of the All-League and the All-State at his school.

He has made a record in the history of his institute by grabbing the career highest rebounding score of 31. He has made this record while playing basketball in the 2000 Northern California championship game.

Chuck Hayes was named as the Mr. Basketball and was also titled with the Parade All-American when he has led his team in the State Championship game. Interestingly, in his sophomore year, he was named as the All-State Football player in his college times.

Then, in the year 2001, Chuck Hayes was enrolled in the University of Kentucky. Hayes has majored in the Communication Studies from the University of Kentucky. Right after one year, he was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team.

He has honored with the slogan of ‘All He Does Is Win’ by the high officials of his college members. In 2004 SEC, he was declared as the most defensive player and was title as the Defensive Player of the Year. He has averaged 35 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, eight steals per game with the 9 blocked shots in the basketball at the end of his collegiate career.

In his college career, he has averaged 1211 points, 910 rebounds, 170 steals and 292 assists in total by attaining the 35th, seventh, eighth and sixteenth ranks. He has also won two SEC Championships and the two SEC titles as well.

In the year 2005, when Hayes has participated in the Portsmouth Invitation Tournament, he was declared as the Most Valuable Player.

In the year 2003, Hayes was a member of the 2003 USA Men’s Pan American Games team.

He has played with them and then was not selected in the NBA Draft. In fact, Hayes has signed the contract of the Houston Rockets before the 2005-06 season. During this season, Hayes has represented the Career history Albuquerque Thunderbirds and then has played for the Houston Rockets from the year 2006. Still today, Chuck Hayes is proving his skills under the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
