Alonzo Gee Bio

Alonzo Gee is an American professional basketball player. He was born on May 29, 1987 in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Gee is currently playing for Cleveland Cavaliers of NAB. He is a versatile player who can play at Shooting Guard as well as Small Forward position. His listed height is 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) and his listed weight is 220 lb (100 kg), he wears No. 33 jeresy.

Alonzo Gee started his basketball career at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He played college basketball at the University of Alabama four seasons from the 2005-06 season until 2008-09 season.

in the 2009 NBA Draft Gee remained undrafted. Gee was signed by the Austin Toros of the NBA D League. Averaging 21 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. Gee was signed to a 10-day contract on March, 2010, by the Washington Wizards of the NBA. Gee made his NBA debut on March, scoring 2 points and grabbing 2 rebounds in 7 minutes of playing time.

Two days later, Gee recorded his first career double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against the Denver Nuggets, and was rewarded with a second 10-day contract. At the end of the same month, Gee made his first NBA start against Charlotte Bobcats, and scored a career-high 19 points.

He signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs after his second 10-day contract expired with the Wizards. On April, 2010 the Spurs assigned him to the Austin Toros. In 2009–10Gee was announced as the NBA D League's Rookie of the Year after averaging 21 points on 51% shooting and 6.6 rebounds in 38.2 minutes per game.

On November 16, 2010 Gee was waived by the San Antonio Spurs, but was signed again by the Washington Wizards on November, 2010. He was waived by the Wizards in 2010, and then signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers on December 2010.
